New Doors Have Opened

As many of you know, Hannah attended a mission trip with Campbell University back in December. The trip was to Atlanta, GA to the House of Cherith/City of Refuge. This organization together is working to combat human trafficking in the state of Georgia, but also wanting to end the industry in its entirety. House of Cherith houses, clothes and feeds women who are wanting to make the life changing decision to get off of the streets. Through the love of the faculty and staff, and most importantly the love, mercy and grace showed by God, all of these lovely ladies are given a new chance at life!

Anyone who has asked Hannah about this mission trip knows that it is something that touched her heart in so many ways just within the 7 days that they were there. Both HOC and COR are nonprofit organizations and rely solely on donor giving. Hannah has been in contact with HOC and has told them about the Hat Drive and what we do for UNC Chapel Hill.

The Lord has laid on Hannah’s heart to bring HOC under our umbrella. With that being said, after corresponding the past few days with staff at HOC, we are so excited to announce that Hats for Hope will be branching into Atlanta, GA for the first time this year!

We will be updating our lists within the next few days in preparation for receiving the items that the ladies are in constant need of. By the grace of God we will be sharing love and laughter in the streets of Atlanta by the end of the year!

Thank you all!! We are so excited!!

I am reminded of this verse as I prepare to post this...

Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. Proverbs 29:18
